Nordhem Living
Nordhem Living began with a simple idea: a home should feel calm the moment you walk in. Not styled, not staged, just settled.
We are a small independent shop based in Zossen, Germany. We do not manufacture anything ourselves. What we do is choose, carefully, from a much larger world of home decor, and put the good pieces in one place so you do not have to wade through ten thousand listings to find them.
How we choose
Everything in the range has to pass the same test. Would we live with it? That rules out most of what we look at.
- Materials that age well. Wood, stone, glass, rattan, linen. Things that look better after a year, not worse.
- Shapes that stay quiet. A lamp should light a room, not compete with it. We avoid pieces that shout.
- Honest construction. Joints that hold, finishes that do not flake, weight where weight belongs.
- Prices that make sense. We are not interested in charging designer money for a shape someone else drew.
What we are not
We would rather tell you this up front. We are not a warehouse and we are not a brand with a factory behind it. Our pieces come from established production partners abroad and ship directly from them, which is why our prices are what they are and why delivery takes longer than a next-day parcel.
If you want something in two days, we are the wrong shop. If you want a good piece at a fair price and can wait a couple of weeks for it, we are a very good one.
